Who is behind it

Justin Allan is a nurse practitioner. He grew up in poverty in rural Tennessee and sometimes did not have running water in high school. After five years of clinical practice he realised that the work would always place limits on his income, his time, and his options.

So he built The Elite Nurse Practitioner, an online continuing education business. For almost three years he ran it largely by himself and grew it into an eight-figure business that let him become financially independent at 39.

ProCourseStart distils the decisions, the mistakes, the failures and the lessons from that into the process he would follow if he were starting again.

What that does not mean

It does not mean the same thing will happen for you, and nothing here is sold on that basis. Justin’s result was his: a particular profession, a particular moment, a particular amount of work, and a fair amount of luck. What travels is the process — how to find a problem worth solving, how to build the course, and how to build the business that carries it. What it earns is up to a great many things nobody controls.

Who it is for

Healthcare professionals first — nurses, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, physicians — because that is the field Justin knows from the inside and where the continuing education market is best understood. But the model is not exclusive to healthcare. Attorneys, engineers, accountants, tradespeople and educators all work in professions with continuing education requirements and colleagues who need teaching, and the library has a piece written for each of them.

How the teaching is organised

Most of it is free. The library holds the articles, the videos, and the podcast appearances, and it is meant to be genuinely useful on its own rather than a trailer for something else. Beyond that there are two paid routes: the Blueprint, which you work through independently, and the Mastermind, which adds Justin’s direct feedback over a longer programme. The free masterclass is the usual place to start if you want the whole argument in one sitting.
